    That's right, a week straight from Hell! Twisted Evil

    The top team came in and showed us WHY they are the top team this week.

    Nothing much to say here. Only two matches went 3 games. Had a couple shots to take maybe one or two more matches, but it would have been a loss either way. These two upper teams are absolute Super A quality. You need to be PERFECT to win. If you hit below a 60 in 501, you pretty much lose. If you're not scoring 4+ marks on each cricket turn, the game is pretty much over. Done before 10PM though, which was nice.

    We have reached our halfway point with a BYE next week. The difference from top to bottom in this division is unbelievable. The top 2 squads are undefeated Super A teams. The bottom two are winless B type teams. That leaves the middle 3, 4, and 5 'A level teams' fighting for the final two playoff spots, and right now, we're on the outside looking in. Really need to step it up in the second half. A good season nonetheless. Having faced everybody at this point, there's not a single team not to like. Everyone is extremely friendly and the travel and format is spectacular. Hell, we might even put in THREE teams next season.

    No, the two teams in the MEN'S DIVISION (Division 1) will play alternate schedules on board 1, and the ladies sandbagging in the other division will play on board 2 when they are at home. With only 4 players on a team, you only have 8 players total (that includes both the home and away team). That's the size of just ONE MMDL team. If two teams played at home at the same time, you're still only talking 16 total people. That would be the same amount of people if you were playing just ONE match in the MMDL, so we could totally accommodate two teams playing at home at the same time. It is becoming increaingly clear that a 6 man team isn't the best way to go with this format (unless your 6th man is an ALT who only shows when needed). You really need your best 2 players shooting all 3 segments (501, CR, Singles) to have the best chance to win, and ultimately 4 guys is the best way to go so that everyone can play the most darts as possible.

    I noticed that you guys have gone with just 4 for most of the season and it seems to be doing you justice with a 4-0-1 record. I'm sure if you were playing 6 each week that A) you wouldn't be doing as well, and B) there would be some serious complaining going on from at least ONE of your players about only getting 2 games.

    We went 5 pretty much all of last season. The plan was to do the same this year until we had scotty get sick. 4 is better everyone gets 3 it makes it more fun!

    Wow, your worst player gets sick, forcing you to go with just your top 4 where everyone gets 3 games and are totally happy, and the next thing you know you are crushing your division. Weird how that works.
