Yes CONGRATS to the Assassins! Glad to hear that you guys are loving Super A so much (and therefore, I ASSUME you will be STAYING there next season.) Sure, you are 66 points out of 1st through the 1st 10 weeks, but look on the bright side, you are within THIRTY POINTS of the final playoff spot!!! Don't you worry that the SS-A-1 division is so competitive and fun. (Top 4 teams are within 5 points of each other. 65, 63,61,60) I mean it's not all about winning right? It's about being able to play week after week KNOWING that not only are you guarenteed to lose, but lose BIG, and that you play each week knowing that they are completely meaningless games. At least you are getting that experience of what it feels like to get spunked in the face week after week. That's worth MORE than any victory or trophy.

And don't let Jakesey's complete ommission of facts get you down either. You've got 31 points through 10 weeks, and we only had 32 points in 12. That's all that matters. It doesn't matter that we NEVER got shut-out and you guys have done it twice. It doesn't matter that we actually WON a match and you guys have not done that. It doesn't matter that we MADE THE PLAYOFFS, while you guys sit 27 points out of the final playoff spot. All that matters is that through 9 weeks you guys have 27 points and we only had 26 points at that point last season. SURE, we went shorthanded FOUR times in the first 9 weeks and therefore FORFEITTED 13 points. That shouldn't matter at all. And it shouldn't matter that we had a MUCH HARDER schedule than you guys do this season. Through 9 weeks last season, we had played Makin Treble 3 times and the Scallywags (the SECOND BEST TEAM LAST YEAR, who's not even PLAYING this year) 3 times as well. Why do you think that Makin Treble already has 97 points this year? Ummm, maybe cause the Super A SOUTH SHORE is weaker than it has been. Or maybe cause the format was tweaked to make it easier to get a point. Either way, don't let those petty little details affect Jakesey's proclamation that you guys are CLEARLY better than we were last season. Sure, we had more match wins, despite forfeiting so many games, and sure we had a tougher schedule with a harder format, and sure we actually MADE the playoffs, but like Jakesey said, you guys DO have one more point than we did through the first 9 weeks of the season, and THAT's all that shoulkd really matter. Sounds like you guys are having a blast and hope you continue to do so next season in the Super A's.

Knock it off Mr. Sensitive. The post wasn't a knock on your team. It was meant as a pat on the back for the Assassins. they volunteered to move up and they've played well that's all. also you know Kevin's goal was to get more points than you guys did. It's good to have goals. I will acknowledge 99% of what you said about your team but you made the playoffs? Dave, everyone made the playoffs you have a great team Dave and frankly, don't know why you haven't smoked your division with the S.A. experiences you got. And why should they stay up, you didn't and as you say you did better than them.... you won a match. I think they will come down and school A division. they've all gotten better.

And A isn't as easy as you think. Death Row and the Bimbos have gotten much better than the last time we faced them last Fall. The Bimbos especially have stepped it up a notch, and this Nemesis team wasn't even around the last time we played in A's. All in all, it's a super competitive division with ANYBODY having a chance for 1st. Every week seems to be 6-5's across the board. The Bimbos & Death Row each have SIX 6-5/5-6 matches. Nemesis has 5, we have 4. Throw in 7-4's/4-7's and that's another 11 matches from those top 4. Nemesis has lost to Death Row and us. Death Row has lost to Nemesis and the Bimbos. The Bimbos have lost to Death Row and Nemesis. We've lost to all 3 and beaten Nemesis on the second go around with games pending vs Bimbo's and Death Row. Point is, ALL FOUR teams are extremely competitive and anybody can beat anybody on any given night which is awesome. It's also something you CANNOT say about Super A. It's just great to be a part of COMPETITIVE darts once again.

Eyes, your original post here shows since stat wise your better than the Assassins, maybe your team should go back for another beating next year1

and as far as A is concerned i think there are some pretty good teams in the A2 Div!

Yeah, that E team is a real POWERHOUSE And as far as Super A goes, been there, done that. We've learned EVERYTHING we'll ever need to learn. Completely content to be where we're at. Of course, if we were to win a State A Championship, then I guess we'd have nothing left to prove and we'd have to move up. Till then, we're happy with baby steps. Just can't seem to get rid of the taste of that State Championship LOSS last Fall. Once we cleanse our palate of that, we'll be good to go.
