First captain's meeting

Josh and I are FREE AGENTS and have been picked up by two other teams.

I will however miss playing with the guys from Guess What.
They are great friends of mine and I wish them all the best in the upcoming season.
I made my decision based on one thing:
I didn't feel that we had a strong enough team to compete at the Division A level consistantly to reach the final goal of winning it all, and going back down to "B" was not an option for me. I will never drop below "A".
It was nothing personal towards any of my friends on Guess What,I loved playing with those guys and I will miss all of them and I hope that they fully understand my decision.

Very funny E, but let's tell the whole story:

When you turn your roster in 3 weeks (as in 21 days) after the meeting, with the understanding you will be slotted in a bye in the E division you requested, and agree to accept that travel might not be ideal b/c you are late..

And you storm into the capt's meeting yelling and screaming, demand your check back and quit b/c it is not feasible to write the whole schedule over and call 141 other captains..or force another team to travel an hour each way for every road game when that team came in on time.

AND when there's only one bye in A division..

You might request E and end up in A.

Hey I laughed too man..make no mistake.

Just pisses me off that I did what I said I would do and caught so much shit for it.

So, did Guess What put a team in or no? Are the rest of the teams coming back? I know Assassins are coming back. Are they taking Guess What's spot, or is there a team moving down or over? Someone's gotta go to make room for the Assassins. With A2 needing TWO teams (Predators spot plus Gamblers spot), there's always the possibility of the Rockland team in A1 moving over to A2 where they belong. That would put them with the OTHER TWO Rockland teams as well as the Weymouth, Quincy, and Hull teams. Just makes sense to have Rockland playing with teams in their SAME town as well as at towns that are next door to them rather than playing against Norton and Brockton. Plus I HATE going to Rockland. Love the Eagles club, just hate the ride. You know, there's an Eagles club in TAUNTON. Maybe they should move there.

As far as I know, Guess What is still in the mix.
