Week 2 finds one of the "new" teams to the division, Anger Management from Sportsway (Norton) AT The WB. I say "new" because though it's mostly a new team, they have a couple players from the old Pulled Hammy team (Ganim & Allen) along with a division 1A team that got moved up. Unfortunately for them the results were pretty much the same as the old Pulled Hammy team.

This team had their chances. There are 2 things that stand out in the top division. #1, you HAVE to hit your out. You PROBABLY get one chance, SOMETIMES get two, and RARELY get 3. If you give your opponet 4 or 5 chances at THEIR out, you WILL LOSE. In fact, if you don't take it out in your 1st or 2nd opportunity you will more than likely lose. #2, Cricket is a HUGELY STRATEGIC game. Unlike '01, you can DIRECTLY affect your opponent's next play. You can completely FORCE them to have to shoot differently. Pointing is not unsportsmanlike, it is the NECESSITY to win the game. You HAVE to play accordingly. These guys missed their outs a lot, and played incredibly sloppy cricket for the most part. If they can address those two issues, they will totally be able to compete at this level. They can hit the big #'s in '01 and the trips in cricket, but just can't seem to finish. I just hope they don't get discouraged and give up on the season just 2 weeks in.
